What room/hotel to I get when booking a ticket with accommodation?
When booking through NAMSS you receive the actual conference venue hotel, this year it is the Hyatt Regency Hotel, Birmingham. The room included in the quoted price is a standard twin or double room. This year you can choose to book an additional room at a discounted rate of £145 ‘Bed & Breakfast’ for Sunday night as part of your Conference package if you prefer to travel the day before.

What board basis do I get when booking a ticket with accommodation?
When booking through NAMSS you receive ‘Bed & Breakfast’ accommodation as part of your purchased Conference ticket. NAMSS also provides a Conference Dinner and entertainment, this is on the Monday evening.

Is it possible to extend my stay / book for longer than just the Monday night?
Yes, subject to availability, contact the Hyatt Regency Reservations desk via 0121 643 1234 or by go to the Hyatt Regency website

When do I book accommodation direct with the hotel?
If you are booking a residential place there is no need to do this, we will do this on your behalf. If you are only attending ONE DAY of the conference with no accommodation option then you are free to book anywhere you want.

Can I cancel my NAMSS conference ticket / accommodation?
Yes, this should be done in writing to but please be aware that you will incur fees if you cancel less than 4 weeks prior to the event.

Do I need to make provisions for dining (lunch & dinner)?
NAMSS will be providing lunch and refreshments over the two day event. NAMSS is also hosting our Annual Conference Dinner on the Monday night alongside the Awards Ceremony after which you can boogie the night away with our Live Band. All you need to do is bring money for a drink or two.

Can I attend the AGM (Annual General Meeting) with a conference ticket?
Yes if you are a member of NAMSS. AGM papers will be emailed to you in advance of the Conference.
